Ecological Restoration and Habitat Assessment
Our team of summer interns can be deployed with expert supervision to assess forests, fields, streams or wetlands before or after ecological restoration. Our team provides a great opportunity to try new methods of restoration, because we will return to assess results and provide a report. Our interns are also able to conduct literature research in collaboration with your team to help design a management, restoration or monitoring plan. We offer a range of services and will tailor a plan to suit your needs, please contact us for more information.

Invasive removal and forest restoration
We remove invasive species from growing forests. Cut honeysuckle is then experimented with by using it to protect tree and shrub seedlings.

Stream restoration and biodiversity
We assess stream biodiversity, using nets or via eDNA. May take place before or after restoration. Previously done with partners like Great Parks and Mill Creek Alliance.

Prairie plant biodiversity
We survey plant diversity in the prairies that were restored and maintained by Great Parks. We also measure insect diversity in parallel with restoration.
