UC Field Center Annual Report 2025

The past year has proven to be one of our most successful yet at the UC Field Center! It has been filled with partnerships, student/community engagement, events and outreach, and even updated facilities.

Our full 2025 Annual Report can be found at the bottom of this post.

The Field Center offered record breaking numbers of paid Co-op opportunities for students inside and outside of UC. These students worked to grow the footprint of the UC Field Center and generate restoration services within our community.

Our Co-op students worked on many projects including:

  • Habitat Surveys

  • Environmental DNA Surveys

  • Native Species Propagation

  • Macroinvertebrate and Stream Quality Assessments

  • Community Outreach and K-12 Environmental Education

  • Snapshot USA Submissions

With the UC Field Center being a 17-acre facility, there is plenty of space to explore. Students, community groups, businesses, and non-profits are encouraged to reach out and learn how to utilize our space. The Field Center hosted a plethora of groups in 2025 for hands on learning, volunteer days, skill building workshops, eco-art creation, Nature as Medicine retreats, school field trips, organization specific trainings, water quality testing, and much more.

The UC Field Center has built and is still building many partnerships around the Greater Cincinnati Area. We are thankful for the support from our partners, as they make it possible to provide opportunities for students and community members.

We are grateful for 2025 and are excited for what's to come! Thank you to our donors, the College of Arts and Sciences, and those who help support our mission!

Please consider supporting the UC Field Center through donation, partnership, or involvement.
